- This is a great book with great information. Have not had the opportunity to utilize the techniques due to weather but the book hast a vast amount of knowledge.
- I purchased the book because of trout fishing at Naples Creek. I had read a blog by the author that was very informative and detailed. So perhaps the expectation of mine wasn't the right one when I bought the book. The chapters are written very broadly and I gleaned little to no useful information that I could implement. It reads more like self-promotion than sharing inside. Perhaps I can see the value of this book when you know absolutely nothing and want a starting point. That wasn't my reason purchasing it.
- Great book. Very detailed regarding locations, times to fish, etc. Fishing the finger lakes is a daunting proposition without first hand knowledge of the waters and area. Even the seasoned angler would be fishing blind without the insider knowledge in this book.

- Bought this book for my husband after going to the library and taking it out on loan. He enjoyed the book so much he asked me to see if we could get a copy. He is always picking it up an reading and re-reading. Looking forward to summer so we came visit some of the fishing sites.
- This is the first book on fishing the Finger Lakes of New York State that tells what to hope for, where to launch a boat, where to fish, and what may to work. It is very well written but perhaps overly optimistic about what to expect.

- JMK is a CNY fishing legend. If you want to learn about CNY lakes or get some tips read this book. I used to read his articles for our local paper, and in NY Game and Fish. I have seen him in action he is the best!
